ELLI Lab School

Stepping Stones Museum for Children,
Literacy How, Inc., Norwalk Community College and Norwalk Housing Authority have joined together to help close the literacy achievement gap and better prepare young children and their families for school. The Early Language and Literacy Initiative (ELLI) will include early learning lab schools for children ages 3 – 5.

Family Programs

Seven days a week, Stepping Stones offers special programs, performances or activities for visitors to enjoy – from arts and crafts to storytelling through yoga to sing-alongs and more. On top of these, we offer unique events throughout the year. Turn a book into an evening of learning at a Storybook Pajama Party. Bring children in costume to our October Monster Mash or in fine attire to dance and dine the night away at our Winter Wonderland Children’s Ball. Meet favorite holiday characters when the North Pole Comes to Stepping Stones, and so much more.
