Captivating Classes: Early Childhood Series Classes 2011 – 2012 School Year



Come out and play! Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall

Stepping Stones understands the important role of play in developing and nurturing a child’s love of lifelong learning. Our play-filled early childhood classes encourage creativity, exploration and discovery with an amazing array of hands-on activities.

While children will have a ball, they will also develop valuable motor, cognitive, language and social skills. Let their imaginations soar!

Caregiver attendance is required at all classes.

           

Summer Classes

Session 1: Week of June 11 – July 2      Session 2: Week of July 9 – July 30

ArtSmarts

Session 1: June 13 – July 4

Session 2: July 11 – August 1

Ages 2 – 4 

Calling all pint-sized Picassos! Experiment with a wide variety of artistic materials and methods including paint, sculpture, printing and collage. Children will explore shapes, colors, forms and patterns while learning about different modes of expression.

Wednesdays 10:15 – 11:15 am

 

Movers and Shakers

Session 1: June 14 – July 5

Session 2: July 12 – August 2

Ages 2 – 4 

Twist and shout and have some active fun! Through music, song, movement and imaginary play, kids pretend to be animals, sports stars, dancers, trees and much more!

Thursdays 10:15 – 11:00 am 


Stepping Into Senses

Session 1: June 15 – July 6

Session 2: July 13 – August 3

Ages 6 months – 2 1/2 years

Inspire the senses! Help your children explore multi-sensory activities as they build language, motor and social skills. Each session includes music, movement, stories and hands-on activities.

Fridays 10:15 – 11:00 am
