At Camp Stepping Stones, your child can investigate dinosaurs, discover art in nature, explore the vastness of space, or even become a superhero for a week. With dynamic themes like puppetry, sports and more, each week offers red-hot fun and exciting learning opportunities tailored to ignite curiosity and imagination.

Unleash your creativity during Superhero Week! Design a unique superhero—complete with a backstory, powers and costume—and discover how superheroes inspire us to be our best selves. Take on daily creative challenges, from crafting comic books to acting out heroic adventures, then cap off the week with a super showcase where your hero takes center stage to save the day!
Discover the wonders of nature through art! Explore the elements of air, earth, fire and water through creative projects like UV sun prints, nature-inspired collages and experiments that demonstrate the effects of water and wind. Each day introduces new techniques, materials and design principles, culminating with a gallery walk showcasing your favorite creations, celebrating the beautiful connection between art and the natural world.
During Sports Week, participate in sport-related activities where you will leap, balance, dribble and play exciting games that will help build coordination, teamwork and confidence. From hopping and stretching to striking and throwing, you will have a ball learning new moves and mastering skills like a true champion during this active adventure.
Embark on an intergalactic adventure, exploring the wonders of our solar system and the fascinating machines that make space exploration possible. Get hands-on and create projects like lever-powered rockets, mini Mars rovers and pulley systems to learn how simple machines are crucial in space missions. Then, bring it all together by designing a collaborative space colony diorama and envision how your how your creations can support human life beyond Earth.
Dive into a creative journey where puppetry meets music! In Puppet Jam, explore the art of bringing puppets to life and the power of musical composition to tell stories, spark laughter and convey emotions. Gain hands-on experience in designing and building large puppets, composing original songs and collaborating in a lively ensemble band—all developed through teamwork and imagination. No strings attached!
A theft “crime” has been committed at Camp Stepping Stones and we need your detective skills to help crack the case. Who is the thief? To solve the mystery, you will need to sharpen your observation skills, explore logical thinking and even practice forensic techniques. Gather clues, question "witnesses" and collect fingerprints in this thrilling investigation where teamwork, curiosity and attention to detail will be your greatest tools.
The paleontology adventure continues! Dig a little deeper during this “dino-mite” week as you explore the exciting world of dinosaurs. Through hands-on activities, you’ll unearth "fossils," identify dinosaurs and learn about prehistoric habitats by creating detailed dioramas. Along the way, you’ll develop scientific observation, critical thinking and presentation skills, gaining a deeper appreciation for Earth's history and its relevance to the present.
