At Camp Stepping Stones, your child can investigate dinosaurs, engineer innovative creations, explore the vastness of space, or even compete in a Summer Olympics-themed week. With dynamic themes like puppetry and more, each week offers red-hot fun and exciting learning opportunities tailored to ignite curiosity and imagination.

Summer Camp

Camp Stepping Stones will certainly heat up your summer with awesome adventures and red-hot fun! Our weekly, STEAM-centered camp themes include immersive learning experiences around topics like dinosaur investigations, space explorations, engineering innovations, the Summer Olympics, puppetry and more!  For ages, 5 – 10!

June 17 – 21: Paleontology 1.0 (REGISTRATION CLOSED)

Paleontology 1.0

Junior paleontologists unite! Let’s dig in to Earth’s past and learn about some of the animals who lived here long ago through hands-on activities, excavations and investigations. Learn about the various traits of some dinosaurs, how they survived and connect them to their modern-day descendants. You will get the inside scoop on some famous discoveries as you learn how paleontologists piece together the past.

June 24 – 28: Artful Expressions (REGISTRATION CLOSED)

Artful Expressions

Calling all young artists of all skill levels to explore your creativity and express yourself artistically. Discover artists who have made their mark on the world and find inspiration in their pieces. Create your own original artwork using different art mediums and techniques that you will learn during this camp experience.

July 1 – 3: Museum Explorations (REGISTRATION CLOSED)

Museum Explorations

Each day brings an immersive exploration of one of the museum’s DINO-mite exhibits. Get really up close and hands on in Big Adventures: Dinosaurs, Lights On! and Energy Lab.

Camp Fees:
Tuition: $225/week – members | $270/week – non-members

July 8 – 12: Makers Lab (REGISTRATION CLOSED)

Makers Lab

Discover how things work and then invent, create and build new toys, machines, structures and much more! Design, prototype and test solutions to everyday problems and work with your team to overcome obstacles. Imagination knows no bounds.

July 15 – 19: Space Mission (REGISTRATION CLOSED)

Space Mission

Get ready for an out-of-this-world experience during this camp week. Launch into an amazing exploration of outer space, what we know about it and the mysteries.  Investigate the technology that is currently used to make discoveries and learn something new that may help you design and build new technology.

July 22 – 26: Summer Olympics (REGISTRATION CLOSED)

Summer Olympics

Go for the gold during this fun week of camp. The world may be gathering in Paris, France for the summer Olympics, but you will not have to leave the museum to experience or create challenges of skill or practice. Work together with your fellow campers to complete sport-themed or puzzle-themed challenges and earn your spot on the medal stand.

July 29 – August 2: Puppetry Arts (REGISTRATION CLOSED)

Puppetry Arts

Anything can be a puppet and anyone can tell a story! Work together to design and create unique puppets; and explore how to bring them to life. You will be introduced to the world of puppetry, create your own puppets and learn how to put on show at camp and at home with friends and family.

August 5 – 9: Paleontology 2.0 (REGISTRATION CLOSED)

Paleontology 2.0

Roar into Stepping Stones as this camp adventure continues! Dig a little deeper during this “dino-mite” week as you explore paleontology through the lens of continental drift, geology, evolution and the Ice Age. Investigate modern-day, groundbreaking dinosaur discoveries, the mammalian make-overs that paved the way to human intelligence, Paleo art, theories and more. You have been naturally selected for this deeper dive into Earth’s past. See you there!
