Visitors may check out a backpack of support items at the Welcome Desk that includes:

  • Noise reducing headphones, these headphones help to minimize the effects of loud or overwhelming sounds, providing a more comfortable experience for visitors with auditory sensitivities.

  • Fidget items, these tools are designed to provide tactile stimulation and help with focus and relaxation. Fidget items are ideal for visitors who benefit from calming activities or need a way to engage during their museum visit.

  • Light reducing sunglasses, for those sensitive to bright or flickering lights, these sunglasses help to reduce glare and provide a more comfortable visual experience while exploring the museum.

What Our Members Have To Say

This place is amazing! Great for a wide range of ages. Science, art, reading, pretend play – all on hand. Membership is a total slam-dunk and very reasonable if you come back a few times. Beats any other children’s museum we’ve been to.

- Nicholas, Norwalk, CT

As a grandmother of two boys, aged 6 and 9, I love visiting Stepping Stones! The interaction between them and all the displays is fantastic! They share and delight in all the action and activities. I can participate as much as I want or I can observe their joy. Love you Stepping Stones!

- Linda, Bridgeport, CT

We bought a membership after our first visit because my children spent hours there and still wanted more. I love that the family membership is the same price no matter how many children you have – a win for big families.
