Calling all little goblins and ghouls! Stepping Stones invites you to a night of frighteningly festive fun at our annual Beasties and Besties Halloween Bash. During this spooktacular after-hours event, explore your favorite museum exhibits with a spooky twist, embark on a Halloween hayride, witness spellbinding shadow puppetry and follow the trail through the “dark forest” to our indoor “haunted” festival featuring classic carnival games, bone-tapping music and dreadfully tasty treats! It’s a family-friendly Halloween skelebration you won’t want to miss. Costumes encouraged!

Tricks or Treats Treasure Trail

Grab a map, design your own trick-or-treat bag and get into the spirit of the season with festive activities throughout the museum like pumpkin painting, tombstone rubbing, scarecrow making and more! Collect a prize at each station.

Carnival Games and Treats

Step right up, folks! Hurry, hurry, hurry in for some traditional carnival games with Halloween flare! Try your hand at Fish Bowl Toss, test your strength at the Hi-Striker, take aim during Spray-N-Race and so much more. Everyone’s a winner! And of course, no carnival is complete without popcorn and cotton candy.

Halloween Hayride

Climb aboard for a Halloween hayride! Enjoy a fun-filled journey on a route decorated with friendly ghosts, pumpkins and other festive surprises. With a mix of gentle thrills and giggles, it's the perfect Halloween adventure for little ones and families alike!

Shadows in the Dark Puppet Show

Discover the hauntingly beautiful art of shadow puppetry during this original choose-your-own-adventure style story!

Mummy Wrapping Contest

Let’s get wrapped up in the fun! Grab your partner and see who can wrap them up like a mummy the fastest. The first team to finish wins a special prize!

Healthyville Café

Bone Appétit! Try our Skull Pizza special, alongside favorites like chicken tenders, fries and cheeseburgers, available to purchase at the Healthyville Café. Plus, don’t miss seasonal sweet treats like dirt cups, candy corn-topped brownies and hot chocolate! Open 3:00 – 6:30 pm.
