This heartwarming event highlights the many benefits of pet adoption for families and communities, while offering a special opportunity to meet adorable, adoptable dogs and connect with local shelters Norwalk Paws and Adopt-A-Dog.

Get in on the doggone fun with pup-themed activities, games, storytimes and meet-and-greets with museum mascot, BooZoo™ — a champion for early childhood learning and literacy. BooZoo’s Adoption Day also brings to life our work with the Mutt-i-grees® Curriculum, a unique PreK–Grade 12 program that uses the special connection between children and animals to build social-emotional skills and foster empathy for shelter pets.
